Clean short nylon / mesenger bag?

A few weeks ago, I went treasure hunting in my college town when the children moved out for the summer. One of my finds was a nice short nylon / messenger bag (a bit 'like this style: http://www.walmart.com/ip/CalPak-Negotiator/12425992) that is an ideal format for my laptop. However, I am sure of how to clean it. (I also found a large nylon bag that I would like to clean.) If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, I would be greatly appreciated.

Remove all parts carbboard and this can be washed in a washing machine to gentle cycle.
