Having a knife in your bag when you travel?

I plan to buy a pocket knife. Not someone hunting big or very small, just ok knife. Can I put it in carry bag (one that runs in charge, people under the plan)? It will cause problems? What should I do? I travel the United States (Chicago) Germany (Frankfurt) and then home (Podgorica).

I have traveled several times nationally and internationally with a knife in my bag checked. Usually a place that is not lock both, and I've never had problems with it. You will be fine as long as you do not violate the laws of the countries you are going through. If you are unsure, you can always contact the company air, they are usually very helpful with giving you the necessary information.
