Set Rolling
In a game of dice, is considered cheating if you set the dice before rolling?
I found a video on YouTube, shows an expert in dice setting and rolling dice. I was wondering if this is done in a casino, will call it cheating.
In general, the dealers want a quick shot. Taking time to set the dice game slows down, so they mostly do not like it, but can not say anything if you do not take too much time doing it. The video you saw is a system for casino are well aware, and if you consistently set and throw the dice in this way, you will get a comment from the crew, most likely. It is not cheating, and as long as you spear against the wall, this is a good shot. If you can not hit the wall, the shot may be denied and that can be done to raise. Do this a few times more and could make you go nuts and you might get jumped for the next shot. They may also ask to leave the table, or the casino. This system involves trying to make the ground nuts on the set number, and the casino wants to see the dice bounce off the wall and fall, to get a fair shot. When I play, I always set the dice on the table for the number I launch, it only takes a second. Then I move my hand for a millisecond to see the nuts, palm open, then pounce on them, stir once and throw them in a movement against the opposite wall. I try to make the shot go a little 'wall height above the table, bounces off the table and then hit the wall. Nobody has ever complained about this, until I hit the wall every time. I also use the method calculated for Craps bet, it seems to work for me.
